Mircosoft \ Crowdstrike Outage 7/18/24

Vulnerability Detail -

On July 18, 2024, CrowdStrike reported crashes on Windows hosts related to its Falcon Sensor host of products.  According to its website, affected hosts are experiencing a bug check\blue screen error related to a malformed Windows update.  Windows hosts which have not been impacted do not require any action as the problematic channel file has been reverted.

MicroBilt Response -

Microbilt does not use CrowdStrike or its Falcon Sensor platform and has not been affected by this incident.  At this time Microbilt has no direct impact from this outage but due to the wide range of the impact some of Microbilt's 3rd party vendors or partners could be impacted.


Customer / Vendor Response -

Microbilt continually monitors all products and platforms and is in contact with  partners and vendors to assess any potential impact.  We will continue to work with vendors and partners to collectively mitigate any outages or issues that arise from this incident.
